By partnering with Habitat For Humanity, we have the unique opportunity to leave a lasting impact on a deserving Indianapolis resident who is on the journey to becoming a new homeowner.

2022 Constructing Indy's Future

We held our first Constructing Indy's Future event in 2022 at Half Liter BBQ in Broad Ripple. We had local vendors and a silent auction filled with items from local businesses. With the support of our employees, clients, family and friends, we raised over $20,000 in one night, allowing us to host a panel build the following year.

2023 Panel Build

NCW employees rolled up their sleeves and donned their PPE to build the frame of Kenny's house!

Habitat for Humanity's Homeownership program, Habitat University, provides quality, affordable homes for local families. Selected Habitat homebuyers, like Kenny, pay a modest down payment, invest 200 hours of "sweat equity" (including construction of their own home), and are responsible for 0% interest monthly mortgage payments and home maintenance.

Building the framework of Kenny's home alongside him and other Habitat homebuyers was an experience that we all cherish. Our 40 NCW employee-volunteers spent 2.5-5 hours in our Indianapolis parking lot assembling the panels, and celebrated with our guests via cookout when it was finished.

2023 Constructing Indy's Future

Our 2nd annual Constructing Indy's Future event brought us back to Half Liter for live music, more local vendors and an even larger selection of silent auction packages from Indy-based businesses.

This event raised the bar of what we thought was possible in a single night - over $40,000 was on the board by the end of the evening, allowing us to donate enough money to fund two panel builds for Habitat families.

2024 Panel build

On Friday, June 21, NCW employees worked alongside Habitat for Humanity homeowners and volunteers to build the frame of a future HFH homeowner. It was a scorcher at a heat index of 96 degrees, but our volunteers fiercely took on the heat and worked diligently on the panels. Our partnership with Habitat never fails to remind us of the hard work our own field employees execute on their job sites, often in similar weather conditions.

Our fundraiser will be held on Friday, August 23rd! We're continually trying to raise the bar for ourselves so we can funnel our efforts into Habitat. This year, our fundraising goal is set at $75,000!
